Mo Mummy is a video slot series from Aristocrat Gaming built around an Egyptian pyramids-and-mummies theme, commonly housed in Aristocrat's MarsX or Helix+ cabinets. The series is built on Aristocrat's Cash Collect feature, a mechanic distinct from the studio's more common hold-and-spin format, and has expanded into multiple entries including the original Mo Mummy, Mo Mummy: Mighty Pyramid, and Mo Mo Mo Mummy.
Rather than locking individual symbols in place and respinning empty positions, Cash Collect plays out on its own grid layered over the base reels. The feature triggers when a mummy symbol lands on the first reel alongside a green gem symbol elsewhere on the reels, opening a separate bonus grid where the mummy moves around collecting coin prizes and additional gems, gradually expanding the play area as it goes. It's a mechanic Aristocrat has used across a number of its more recent titles, with Mo Mummy being one of the earliest and best-known examples.
The bonus grid starts small and grows as the mummy collects more green gems during the feature, expanding the active zone and, with it, the number of coin prizes available to be collected before the round ends. The visual of watching the zone grow step by step is a core part of what makes Cash Collect distinct from a standard respin bonus -- the anticipation comes from watching the zone expand rather than watching a fixed number of respins tick down.
Aristocrat has expanded Mo Mummy into a small family of related releases. Mo Mummy: Mighty Pyramid keeps the same core Cash Collect structure with an expanded pyramid theme, while Mo Mo Mo Mummy adds a set of modifiers on top of the base Cash Collect feature -- larger grids, extra spins, or the ability for two symbols to occupy the same position -- rather than offering three fully separate bonus games. All versions share the same Egyptian visual world and the underlying Cash Collect mechanic.
